The Bridge 13 program offers food service providers a streamlined way to donate surplus food. Donations are redirected to partner organizations that distribute the food to individuals and families in need.
We've rescued over 40,000 pounds of food, and counting!

Frequently Asked Questions
We are often asked...
We saw a problem: too much good food going to waste, and too many people going hungry. So we stepped in. Bridge 13 collects surplus food from event venues, restaurants, stadiums, and grocery stores, and deliver it to community programs that get it to people who need it most.
We currently serve the Portland metro area and surrounding communities.
Signing up is easy. Get in contact with us at info@bridge13.co, or fill out this donation form if you have an immediate donation.
If the food’s still good, whether it’s shelf-stable or leftover from a conference, we’ll make sure it doesn’t go to waste. We use Oregon's Food Safety Regulations as a guideline for how to transport the food, and what we can rescue.
